RiRi keeps slayin’. She’s now in a tie with The Beatles’ – of all artists – for second place in most total weeks spent at #1 on the Hot 100 chart.

You all know what song we’re talking about that did it here. “Work” has just spent it’s 8th straight week at #1 and Rihanna now has a total of 59 weeks spent at the top spot during her career. Crown.

Only Mariah Carey’s 79 weeks is ahead of Rihanna and The Beatles, which are followed up by Boyz II Men with 50 weeks and Usher with 47 weeks.

RiRi has also garnered 14 career #1 singles. She currently holds down fourth place on that all time list behind The Beatles (20), Elvis Presley (18), and Mariah Carey (18). Pretty good considering Rihanna’s career spands about a decade and those artists spand decadeS.
