Charles Barkley really does not like the Golden State Warriors style of play and he isn’t afraid to admit it. He has backtracked somewhat because after a team goes 73-9 what else negative can you really say? Even with that regular season record however, Barkley is convinced the Warriors will fall short in their title mission. Steve Kerr was asked about the comments and it was clear he wasn’t bothered.

Earlier this week, Barkley said “If the Golden State Warriors win a championship, I will get on my knees and congratulate them”. While most of America would love to see Charles groveling like that, Kerr pretty much laughed it off.
“If I’m not mistaken,” Kerr said, “he picked us to lose last year, too.”
And when Kerr was asked if he thinks there’s a segment of the basketball-watching population that wants the Warriors to lose in the postseason this year, he brought up Barkley’s name again.
“There’s a segment of Charles that wants it,” he joked.
The only real threats to the Warriors are going to be the Spurs or Thunder in the conference finals and the Cavs in the NBA finals, so it’s safe to say the odds are heavily in their favor but this is why you play the games and see what happens. Barkley will be praying for someone to knock off the Warriors.
