Asap Ferg recently took to twitter to humble rant about his hustlers past. In the Rant he also states that he received the name from the late A$AP member Yams. He educates on how he sold everything from belts to iced out chains to celebrity’s before he even touched a microphone. In the rant Ferg reveals how he has long trapped and set trends. He sheds light on how he sold Devoni belts. He also mentions how the he always wanted one of those chains like Pharrell so he made his own collection with savoriness crystals and sold them. He claims that the chains grew so much in popularity that people were getting robbed for them. According to him all this was the inspiration of his other stage name, “Trap Lord”. He says its this inner drive that gave Late A$AP mob member Yam$ the idea to call Ferg Trap Lord.
