Kodak Black was arrested in Florida on Thursday, but announced just one day later via Instagram that he’d been released. Little was known about the details of his arrest at the time, but today we have a bit more information.

According to the police report, the 18-year-old rapper and a friend were parked at “a building known for drug dealing” in the early afternoon on Thursday, when his friend, Wisdom Williams, handed cash to two male in exchange for a large bag “with a green, leafy substance.” The bag was seized, and later positively tested for marijuana.

When cops approached the car, Kodak allegedly drove off, and they chased him a few blocks while he was speeding 30 miles over the speed limit, and ran a red light while doing so. When they finally caught up with him, they allege he threw a black gun into a dumpster, and later retrieved “the loaded and fully functional glock 23 .40 caliber pistol” from where they saw him throw it.

Kodak and Williams allegedly refused to cooperate, and when taken in for further questioning, police discovered Kodak was a convicted felon for an attempted robbery with a weapon charge in 2012. (Damn – he had to be like 14-years-old!) He was charged with weapon or ammunition possession by a convicted felon, in addition to marijuana possession, several traffic violations and eluding an officer, and posted his $5,000 bond the next morning.

Isn’t this like, really, really bad?
