While details still loom about the late legend Prince’s death and who should receive his estate, details have come to light about Prince’s vault. The government may have access to a load of unreleased music from the late singer.
Prince’s estate has been the topic of discussion for the past week. With his siblings seeking to get their piece of the pie, the late singer’s vault was drilled open by Bremer Trust. It’s believed that there is over a year’s worth of unreleased music in the vault, which could be property of Minnesota. Apparently, there is an estate tax and a mandatory 40 percent rate that can allow half of Prince’s estate to be handed over to the government. With so much going on, it’s hard to accept that this icon is really gone.
Hopefully, his estate can be distributed to the family. Being that the singer didn’t leave a will, things will take a little longer to process.
