Larry Wilmore attended the White House Correspondent’s Dinner last night for Barack Obama. He gave a speech where he showed his appreciation for the time he served as the President of the United States, by concluding his speech with the ‘n-word’.

Along with many other high profiled guests, comedian Larry Wilmore attended the dinner to pay his respects as Barack Obama approaches the end of his presidential term. Larry Wilmore begins on expressing the extreme impact Barack Obama had on the United States of America being a black president. He states:

“When I was a kid, I lived in a country where people could not accept a black quarterback. Now think about that, a black man was thought by his mere color not good enough to lead a football team,” he said. “And now, to live in your time, Mr. President, when a black man can lead the entire free world.”

Saying words could not do him justice, Wilmore simply concluded the last White House Correspondents’ Dinner of Obama’s presidency by saying, “Yo Barry, you did it my n***a.”
