If the name Martin Shkreli doesn’t ring a bell, he was the man who bought the HIV/AIDS treatment drug and spiked the price upward. So you can already tell what his character is like. This one is a bit out of pocket.
As you may know, George Zimmerman is now auctioning off the gun used to kill black teen Travon Martin. If that’s not already sick enough, he’s actually getting legitimate bids on the weapon as high as $65 million. Although those were some fake bids, the highest legitimate bid was $415,000. Shkreli says he’s trying to buy it to do one of two things; destroy it or put it in a museum because it is a reminder of racism in the United States.
