Jermaine snags his third platinum single plaque with “No Role Modelz”, after continuous airplay and hustling around the country on tour with good music from his instant classic, Grammy nominated 2014 Forest Hills Drive album. Congrats Cole.
“No Role Modelz” follows the million-selling success of “Power Trip,” featuring Miguel, from Born Sinner and Cole’s breakout single “Work Out,” from his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story. The RIAA changed its certification process earlier this year to include audio and video streams into its sales reports, which definitely was an edge for success. Although, 2014 Forest Hills Drive was certified platinum in January before the rules change.
