A lesbian couple was arrested for showing public affection in a grocery store in Honolulu. After holding hands and kissing, the couple was shocked to find that their public affection would lead them to an arrest. The officer was Officer Bobby Harrison that ordered the couple to “take it somewhere else.”

After an exchange of words, the Officer allegedly got physical with the couple and hit one of the women in the face. The women spent three days in jail and was charged with assault in March.

After filing their own lawsuit for having their constitutional rights violated, the couple received a settlement of 80,000 dollars on Friday.
