Kanye West is no stranger to getting some amazing collaborations on tracks. Some of them you’ll look at and ask yourself ‘How do these artists mesh on a track?’ and it’ll come out amazing. The first track of ‘Cruel Winter’ will most likely be no different.
Kanye went on Big Boy’s 92.3 fm and dropped the first single off of ‘Cruel Winter’ which features Gucci Mane, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Desiigner, Yo Gotti, Travi$ Scott & Quavo. The track is indeed so new, it doesn’t even have a title yet.
“I had the basic beat for a year and a half. It sounded right for this project,” Kanye told Big Boy. “This is the hook we should have for the first single.”
Speaking about the collaborations, Kanye said it’s mostly about the energy in the studio.
“a lot of times it’s just the energy in the studio, whoever is coming by. And then we get to talk about who would sound nice on the track.”
The good radio personality that Big Boy is, he took the opportunity to ask Kanye about the infamous line in Kanye’s song ‘Famous’ about Taylor Swift.
“Yes, I told her we were going to say that. I didn’t tell her— I asked her how she felt about it.” he said. “Music is all we got. It’s our only opportunity to fully express ourselves.”
There is also going to be a 12-15 minute version of Desiigner’s ‘Panda’ on the project so you can also look forward to that! You can listen to the intro on ‘Cruel Winter’ below.
Winters are hell every year. I wish God did not create four seasons. It would have been better if summers lasted forever.
Don’t mess with Japan baby.
It was our plan for Christians to call Gods Son by the wrong name since ancient times. And we achieved our goal when they began to call Him Jesus which comes from a pagan Greek deity named Zeus who is being tortured in hell by us. Zeus did not put God first. Zeus was a atheist.
