Storm Entertainment is no stranger to making comic books to tribute performers who have passed away. In fact, they’ve released similar comic books in honor of Kurt Cobain, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse. In 2013 they released the book Fame: Prince #1. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The Storm Entertainment president, Darren G. Davis, wants Prince fans to have a deeper understanding of the legacy. In a statement Davis said

“Tribute: Prince” was released on June 7th, Prince Day, in Minnesota, and is available digitally and in print. Fans also have the choice to pick from three different comic book covers.
