As people mourn the losses of loved ones who’s lives were taken in a senseless act of violence in the Orlando night club attack and as the people of United States send their deepest condolences and prayers to those who were directly affected by what happened their is a video that surfaced the internet back in April of a speaker who was invited to speak at a Florida Mosque who said that “all gays must die.”

The Husseini Islamic Center in Sanford, FL invited Sheikh Farrokh Sekaleshfar to speak at their Mosque. Dr. Sekaleshfar says the killing of homosexuals is the compassionate thing to do.

Back in 2013 Sekalesh said in regards to the LGBT community

“Death is the sentence. We know there’s nothing to be embarrassed about this, death is the sentence. We have to have that compassion for people, with homosexuals, it’s the same, out of compassion, let’s get rid of them now.”

When Sheikh Sekaleshfar calls for the death of all those apart of the LGBT community based on the tenets and teachings of Islam it can not be ignored, he is an “expert” on the Islamic Law. The Islamic Law also mandates a death sentence for blasphemers and apostates. So does that mean Sheikh Sekaleshfar and the Husseini Islamic Center Mosque advocate those legal rulings as well?

If something does not affect you directly then why the f*uck are you worried about it? That’s the biggest question here. People are entitled to do what they want, when they they want to do it and with whom ever they want to do it with. Calling on the death of all gays is uncalled for and extremely disturbing. You don’t have to agree with someones sexuality or lifestyle and you’re entitled to your own opinion but it’s 2016. Everything is changing whether you like it or not. Get over it and go about your lives and worry about yourself.
