Common is ready to get back on your television screen. Not rapping but acting in the upcoming television project, Black Samurai. You won’t believe who’s executive producing the series

Everybody knows rapping isn’t Common’s only talent, he’s been in a number of film projects as well. This time he’s ready to invade your television on a regular basis. Wu Tang Clan’s, Rza, is set to be an executive producer on the project and Common is set to star. Commmon will be playing the Black Samurai character, Robert Sand. The series is based on the 1977 film that was based of a book series. The project is currently seeking a network to pick up the project and plans to hire writers and a director after a deal is put together. Stay tuned for updates on the premiere date.
