Big Pun’s widow, Liza Rios, previously sued Fat Joe and music publisher Jelly’s Jams for breach of contract, claiming she was owed a pretty big amount for Pun’s royalties that she was not receiving. The numbers weren’t revealed, but insiders say Rios accused Joey of withholding at least $2 million.

Bossip reports the parties settled yesterday during a status hearing at Manhattan Federal Court. The previous day, lawyers for both sides spent all day in mediation.

The terms of the settlement were confidential, but Rios’ lawyer Lita Rosario says:

“We are pleased with the settlement. We think it was fair, and we’re pleased.”
