After a sad month of tragic occurrences, the LGBT has one thing they can most definitely get their hopes up for. There’s been a constant societal battle for the total acceptance for people apart of the LGBT community. It’s 2016… Get over it, respect it and keep it moving.

On July 1, the Pentagon plans to announce the lift of the ban of transgender soldiers. They’re suppose to be having a meeting to finalize the decision that has stirred up so much controversy in the past year. The repeal can be signed off on as early as Wednesday by the Deputy Defense Secretary, but it has to receive final authorization from the Defense Secretary. The plans include all service branches to implement new policies directly change recruiting, housing and uniforms. Concerns that came up was that of the Armed Services ability to provide full accommodation for transgender soldiers as men and women receive.
