Currently the state of West Virginia is going thru a crisis. The state has just been hit with an dangerously high amount of rainfall and it is tearing the state apart. The death toll already is at least 23 and that number is expected to climb as the hours go by. The last thing America, or any nation on this planet for that fact, needs is another tragedy. The death toll is at least 23 in West Virginia. Today the state was pounded by sever weather which caused massive flooding. The entire state is in pandemonium and the rains which washed away most of the state reached record levels. Currently 200 National Guard service members have been deployed in order to assist in the rescue efforts of those trapped by the flooding. At one point a bridge was washed away; trapping over 500 people in a shopping center for more than 24 full hours.

In total over 9 inches of rain was dumped on the state. Although this mtragedy is from natural causes it still is nonetheless a tragedy. And with so many tragedies are occurring in such little time, its as if the nation isn’t even being allowed an ample opportunity to grieve. So sad; condolences to all who are mourning due to this tragedy.
