Tornado Warnings Across Midwest

What a way to kick of the holiday weekend! New York City, Upstate New York and Western New England have been issued a tornado warning. Talk about random. Who would’ve guessed? It’s looking like a Netflix and chill kind of night.

Meteorologist, have issued a tornado warning today until 10pm tonight. This is the first warning since 2010. That tornado rattled some things up in the city. There are expectations of heavy showers and thunderstorms with winds up to 60 mph. Hail can also accompany the wild weather. Destructive winds, is the main concern at this time. New York City has a small probability of being hit directly but will most definitely feel its affects. Experts say to find shelter if you see the sky becomes dark with thunder and lightening in the distant horizon. Don’t freight beachgoers and barbequers, the weather is suppose to be amazing once this storm passes. Have a safe holiday weekend all. Check out the full warning below.
