Since posting the controversial tweet, he’s deleted it. He’s gotten bad responses from people who claimed that this was anti-semitic. Him deleting the tweet is kinda surprising considering that Trump has a history of bashing political correctness and believes people should have the freedom to do whatever they want without being scared to offend anybody.
My question is, why use the Star of David? It’s pretty random to associate something that religious with someone you deem to be crooked. Since deleting it, he changed the Jewish symbol to a circle:
