After a video went viral of Officer Nakia Jones speaking out against the unjust treatment and murders of minorities by police officers, rumors began to spread that she was suspended. Fortunately that is false, hit the jump to read more.
After posting the video Nakia Jones was warned that she could potentially lose her job. However, the mayor of her town Warrensville Heights, Ohio stated that Nakia is on full duty and did not violate any social media policies. In the video Nakia shared her frustration and discomfort saying:
“How dare you stand next to me in the same uniform and murder somebody! How dare you!”
