James Harden recently agreed to a four-year, $118 million contract extension to stay with the Houston Rockets.  Though they have “The Beard”, it’s not nearly enough to contend against the firepower the Golden State Warriors have including their latest addition and Harden’s former teammate, Kevin Durant.  Harden however said he’s not worried.

Harden via ESPN:

“Obviously the Warriors are a really good team …but there’s only one basketball. You’ve got to figure it out.”

He along with others have noted that the Warriors have a lot of great shooters and they’re going to have to learn how to play together.

After signing his contract extension, Harden sent out an open letter to Rockets’ fans and threw in another shot at the Warriors.  He noted that the Rockets are not a “super-team” but they want to work hard to be the best.
