Four of the most high profile players in the NBA delivered a powerful speech to start the ESPYS off this past Wednesday and it’s clear people were listening. In fact, the largest police union in the country appreciated the message that Melo, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade & Lebron delivered so much, that they want to get together with them ASAP!

TMZ spoke with Jim Pasco, the executive director of the Fraternal Order of Police, who said that his union “heard the comments and we welcomed them”.

“We’d like an opportunity to speak with them about how we can work with them to improve communication and interaction between police and the community.”

“These are 4 of the top athletes in their sport and they are role models in the community.”
