Move over Bernie Sanders. Since Sanders is basically giving up his hopes for Presidency by endorsing Hillary Clinton, Cornel West has decided to go the Green Party route.

Many people don’t think it’s smart to vote for anybody outside of Hillary Clinton because of the fear of Trump getting elected. But Cornel West’s argument is you shouldn’t have to vote for the lesser of two evils. He says Jill Stein is “the only progressive woman in the race”.
“This November, we need change. Yet we are tied in a choice between Trump, who would be a neo-fascist catastrophe, and Clinton, a neo-liberal disaster. That’s why I am supporting Jill Stein. I am with her — the only progressive woman in the race — because we’ve got to get beyond this lock-jaw situation.”
West said he has “deep love” for Bernie Sanders but he refuses to vote for someone like Clinton because of the Clinton’s disastrous laws of the 90’s that generated inequality (from mass incarceration to “wall street dominion”).
Jill Stein, of course, is thrilled that someone like Cornel West has endorsed her.
