Obama has been practically swimming in W’s this year. He is really ending his presidency on the right note.
While this is a great accomplishment, it’s important to say that his administration cut down the deficit that they helped create in the first place lol But still, its impressive.
That was his main flaw at one point. Republicans took every opportunity they could to criticize him, using the deficit as a reason. They really thought Obama was going to drive this country to a debt that we’ve never seen before. But just like that, my main man Obama let them haters know.
That old “Obama tripled our deficit!” narrative could finally be put to rest as Obama brought the deficit back down to about 400 Billion. It’s still a lot, but way better off than where we were at in 2009. Check out the gallery to see the graph of the deficit throughout the years.
