During the DNC, Bernie Sanders spoke on his reasoning for endorsing Hillary Clinton. Although he was booed earlier for telling his supporters to vote for Hillary, Sanders went on to explain why we have to get Hillary in that White House.

Sanders also spoke on “political revolution” saying,

“Together we continue the fight to create a government which represents all of us, and not just the 1 percent—a government based on the principles of economic, social, racial and environmental justice.”

Sanders went on to say,

“I have known Hillary Clinton for 25 years. I remember her, as you do, as a great first lady who broke precedent in terms of the role that a first lady was supposed to play as she helped lead the fight for universal health care. I served with her in the United States Senate and know her as a fierce advocate for the rights of children, for women, and for the disabled. Hillary Clinton will make an outstanding president and I am proud to stand with her here tonight.”

Trump went in on Sanders tweeting,

Bernie Sanders totally sold out to Crooked Hillary Clinton. All of that work, energy and money, and nothing to show for it! Waste of time.

Sanders clapped back saying,

Never tweet.
