Joey reveals Drake dm’ed him on Instagram with some pretty confusing statements…I think we’re all pretty confused in this whole Drake/JoeBudden situation…
Cari Champion from ESPN be Honest had the Slaughterhouse MC on her podcast and had Joey spilling some beans, like info on Drake’s dm’s and the fact that Joe knows Drake got liposuction twice lol. He said Drake first initiated the conversation via Instagram:
“‘I would like to formally invite you to one of my four Madison Square Garden shows, August 4th. You and however many people you’d like to bring, ‘and I bet you can’t release 25 diss records between now and then.'”
With this Joe was kinda confused how the tone of the message was conveyed:
“So then it was the laughing emoji. I use that emoji with my friends, so I don’t know if he’s laughing or joking at this point,” he said. “And then he followed that with, ‘If you can, I will give you $10,000 LOL.’ And then it said ‘Joey’ with a bunch of exclamation points. I didn’t know how to take that.”
Joe isn’t exactly jumping at the offer but he said he did respond with that he definitely could drop that amount of records against the OVO leader. “That sounds like someone who’s a gentleman. That sounds like someone who isn’t really bothered by any of this, but it also sounds like someone who’s attempting to insult someone.”
Joe says he’s not going to release the screenshots of the conversation yet, but he is sure that Drizzy was trying to insult him. Hear for yourself below around the 23 minute mark:
