Former New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher hinted at possibly coming back as a player .  He posted a workout video and some suggestive tweets.

Sources reportedly told ESPN that Fisher has indeed been “exploring options and expressing interest in playing again.”

While his options are unclear, Fisher is looking into opportunities to play in the NBA or in the Chinese professional league.  He posted a video playing basketball and one of the captions was #imnotdoneyet.  He took to his Twitter account and explained that the workouts have been apart of his regimen but he’s open to talks with NBA teams.

If he does return, he would be the oldest player in the NBA as he turns 42-years old on Tuesday.

Fisher is a 6-foot-1 guard, he played 18 years in the NBA, and won five championships with the Los Angeles Lakers.  He played in an NBA-record 259 playoff games and won a league-record 161 games.

He became the head coach of the Knicks shortly after retiring from playing in the NBA.  He was fired during his second season in February after a stretch in which the team went 1-9.  The Knicks were 40-96 during Fisher’s 1½ seasons as head coach.
