A woman has filed a $21 million federal civil lawsuit against Derrick Rose, claiming he and two of his friends drugged and gang raped her. Rose says the group sex was consensual and they did it on more than one occasion. He says the woman is extorting him because he didn’t reimburse her for some sex toys and wouldn’t move forward with their relationship. Rose says she began to get angrier when he started ignoring her texts. A judge recently denied Rose’s request to throw the case out and it’s now in the discovery phase with both parties taking depositions and exchanging documents preparing for the upcoming trial later this year.

According to docs filed on August 4th, Jane Doe describes in detail the alleged rape she endured during a deposition under oath. When asked about the sexual interaction with Rose at her apartment she recalls, “He was standing right on the edge of my bed and he was dragging me to the edge of the bed. And I remember him pulling his pants down. As I was trying to get off the bed, I remember him like penetrating me. And I just kept on trying to roll off the bed. I was – didn’t want to like – anything to happen, so I was trying to roll off the bed.”
She explained that Rose left the room and then she woke up to one of his friends inside of her and she detailed her memory, “I had felt something on my chest. I couldn’t breathe, and I woke up, and he left my body. He pushed me and left the room.”
The woman said she woke up and began vomiting while one of the NBA star’s friends was right in between her legs. And he then started putting his clothes on and left the room.
Rose filed a declaration under oath stating, “I did not add Rohypnol or any other drugs to Plaintiff’s drinks or the drinks of anyone else at the Beverly Hills home.” He said the accuser performed consensual oral sex on him at the Beverly Hills home. When he arrived at her apartment later that night he said they had consensual sex and she never said to stop. He also claims she used a vibrator during their relations.
