Seriously, stop. This 19 year old kid and his 36 year old mom are both facing up to 18 months in jail for their relationship that turned romantic, then sexual.
Monica Mares and Caleb Peterson currently live separately in Clovis, N.M., following a no-contact court order, reported by the Daily Mail. The 36-year-old Mares is a mother of nine and gave up her 19-year-old son, Peterson, for adoption years ago. But after rekindling their mother-son relationship last Christmas, it turned into more then that.
Mom revealed she made the first move on her son, quoted as saying:
“I’m sorry I don’t know how you are going to react to this. I’m your mom and you’re my son, but I’m falling in love with you.” He responded with: “You know what I am too. I was scared to let you know.”
They kept their relationship a secret, but after a neighbor started to suspect some incestuous ways, they approached the “couple” and then alerted the authorities.
“He is the love of my life and I don’t want to lose him. My kids love him, my whole family does. Nothing can come between us not courts, or jail, nothing.”
She even said she would choose him over her 9 children…sounds like some serious family issues…
“It is every bit worth it. If they lock me up for love then they lock me up. There is no way anybody could pull us apart, and I really do love him.”
It’s just….wrong. Not much else to it just stop ??
