Danny Brown goes all out for his music…maybe that’s why it took 3 years to craft Atrocity Exhibition. He reveals his mindset and why he spent so much for samples below.
Danny just did an interview with Rolling Stone and he compares his music to other artists with a Rolex and a Swatch:
“A lot of people cheap. And that’s why their music sounds cheap. I wanna make timeless stuff, so you’re gonna have to spend a couple dollars. You could have Rolex or you can have a Swatch.”
Very true. His fourth full length album is set to come out September 30th, just about 3 years removed from his last album in 2013, Old, and it’s set to feature Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboyB Q, Ab-Soul, Earl Sweatshirt, Kelela and Cypress Hill’s B-Real.
