7 officers in Chicago involved in the 2014 fatal shooting of teenager Laquan McDonald have been recommended to be fired by the city’s Office of the Inspector General. They actually recommended 8, but Chicago PD disagreed with one. As previously reported, dashcam video of the shooting contradicted nearly everything police said happened.
