33-year-old Charlaina Lee Wilson is a a teacher at Selma High School in Alabama. Oh. She has recently been arrested after she sent her own personal sex tape to a 14-year-old. She will now be charged with second-degree rape, second-degree sodomy, transmitting obscene material to a child by computer, and distributing material harmful to minors.
The video went viral on social media. Once school officials found out, they conducted an investigation only to find out that Wilson and the teen had sex on several different occasions. No one knew of the relationship until the video went viral. The Dallas County (Alabama) District Attorney says,
“She could possibly face a lot of time in prison on this. This is a complete violation of the public’s trust. Parents send their children to school to learn, not to have adults prey on them. Unfortunately, this is not a rare occurrence going on now.”
The Selma Police Chief says,
“Every couple of weeks, you see where a teacher is involved with a student somewhere in the state or even across the southeast. They’re there for one purpose and one purpose only. It’s getting out of hand in some places.”
