Over the weekend, an Atlanta-based teacher by the name of Patrice Brown went viral because of her photos. Her clothing choices in the classroom have sparked quite the debate, with some people saying that she’s being shamed only because she is shapely and it wouldn’t be an issue if she was thin, while others are saying that clothing that tight is never okay in an education setting.

Now it appears that #TeacherBae has sparked more than just a debate, and people are actually trying to take action. Atlanta Public Schools have since released a statement, saying:
“Atlanta Public Schools can confirm that Patrice Brown is a paraprofessional employed with the district. She was given guidance regarding the APS Employee Dress Code, the use of social media, and Georgia Code of Ethics for educators, and she has been cooperative in addressing her presence on social media.”
Brown temporarily made her Instagram page private, but it’s back to public and has amassed nearly 200,000 followers. “I just wish they would respect me and focus on the positive and what truly matters, which is educating the children of the future generations and providing and caring for them,” she told The Daily Dot.
Do you think people are just hating and projecting their own body insecurities, or do they have a point? Furthermore, even if they do have a point, do you agree with their choice to take action, even if their children aren’t involved?
I’m pretty sure they’re projecting their own body insecurities. It’s really pathetic that many people these days can’t even build confidence in themselves or at least do something about their bodies if they’re not satisfied.

She is beautiful, people get over yourself! That is a beautiful dress on a beautiful lady! She took some time to dress nicely and look pretty and she is getting negative remarks, come on……..
She’s a paraprofessional not a certified teacher. Therefore, I don’t feel as bad about the pictures because a certified teacher should know better. It’s great to have a beautiful shape, but she shouldn’t wear her clothes skin tight at work. Those outfits are for after hours.
Everyone who works in a school should be held equally accountable, your reasoning makes zero sense. If she wore baggy clothes to hide her shape, that is for some reason offensive, she would look unprofessional. It’s really a lose lose so she might as well do what she wants within the rules of keeping her job.
She cant help that shes sexy

Women just projecting their insecurities on men when they are whistled at and bosoms and cleavages are complimented. That is a sin against God to impose the Christian belief that words are something men need to be criminalized over. In this case Isaiah 29:21 Make a man an offender for a word. Laying a snare for him that reproveth in the gate. That turn aside the just for a thing of nought. This bible verse is still being wrongfully imposed on everyone as some kind of so-called truth about anyone saying your breasts and cleavage is beautiful is somehow to be mistaken as sexual so-called harassment. Sexual harassment is a demonic, hypocritical lie about compliments and staring. Sidewalk hassling is a lie about whistling. Patrice Brown is a comely woman and her bosom is large and makes her womanly and is nice to see its shape in her dress.
