The bad news is piling up for Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham because he’s finally been formally charged with felony battery for allegedly punching a hotel worker back in July. The 27-year old was arrested in Miami on July 25th after officials say he got violent with a Hilton Bentley worker who was setting up a beach umbrella for the NFL player’s group.  Officials say Bradham got upset because the worker was taking too long, so he punched the guy in the face, and someone else in Bradham’s group allegedly smashed the worker over the head with a glass bottle.  Hmmm, all that because he was taking too long? It seems like something is missing from the story but anyways…

The Miami State Attorney’s Office tells TMZ Sports, Bradham has been formally charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm, a 2nd-degree felony.  Bradham has pled not guilty, but if he’s convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison.  The trial is set for January.

Bradham was also arrested earlier this week in a separate incident for bringing a loaded gun through the Miami International Airport.
