Earlier this month, Jay Z announced a two-year film and television development deal with the Weinstein Company. He quickly announced his first project, a mini-series on Spike TV about Kalief Browder, the high school student who was held at Rikers Island for three years without trial for the theft of a backpack, and later killed himself upon his release.

Now, he’s announced the second project, and it’s equally as powerful. This one will be for NBC, and it will be a series about Nicholas Irving, the first African-American to serve as a Special Operations Direct Action Sniper in the 3rd Ranger Battalion for the U.S. Military.

Irving wrote a book about his experiences in 2015, and the series will reportedly be based around that. The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story star Sterling K. Brown is set to play Irving, with production to begin early next year.
