The judge who was proceeding in the infamous drug lord El Chapo’s case was gunned down on Monday, in broad daylight jogging outside of his home. Now surveillance cameras allegedly caught the shooting on tape and it’s disturbing.

Judge Vicente Bermudez Zacarias was shot in the back of his head at close range, while jogging on the side of the road in Metepec, about 43 miles from Mexico City. The 37 year old was rushed to a nearby hospital, but it was too late. Judge Bermudez handled a number of legal filings from lawyers working on behalf of El Chapo, the accused Sinoloa Cartel kingpin currently jailed in a Mexican federal prison. He also oversaw appeals from Trevino, who is accused of working with the no games played Zetas cartel. The video below is quick and disturbing so watch with discretion:
