Kid Cudi fans are still not here for Drake after he spoke on Cudi’s mental illness in one of his latest single ‘2 birds 1 stone.’ Cudi fans are now demanding the Toronto native give up all proceeds from the song and donate it to a different mental health charities.
The verse that fired everyone up was,
“You were the man on the moon/ Now you just go through your phases/ Life of the angry and famous… Still never been on hiatus/ You stay xanned and perked up/ So when reality set in you don’t gotta face it.”
The Care2 petition creator states,
“Mental health is not a joking manner. According to Mental Health America, the most common disorder amongst suicide victims is depression. Depression or bi-polar disorder affects about 30-70 percent of suicide victims.”
I personally do not see Drake doing this. Im pretty sure his defense will be that Cudi mentioned him first. Let’s see how this pans out.
