A Tribe Called Quest’s final album has finally arrived and now we the get the strong projections for their first week of sales.

Frankie Zing

‘We Got It From Here…Thank You 4 Your Service’ is the group’s first album since 1998’s The Love Movement and is projected to sell 60-70,000 units in traditional sales and 73-83,000 including streams in it’s first week of release (it’s also receiving widespread critical acclaim, Grammy’s ??)

It’s also the first project we hear from the legendary group since one of their member’s passing, Phife Dawg, earlier this year due to complications from Diabetes. He did work on the project and you can hear his final vocals here.

According to HDD, the album’s main competition for supremacy this week will be Leonard Cohen’s latest album, who just passed last week at the age of 82.

And hey…it could go higher..with streaming data numbers seem to going array these days. I mean look at Meek Mill…they said he would only like 30K with #DC4 and wound up almost tripling that!
