Last month Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith took a picture together.  They were all smiling and Jordan had his arm around Barkley, leading many to think the beef between them was squashed.  Well, it turns out it wasn’t.

Barley appeared on “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stu Gotz” on ESPN radio and cleared up the misunderstanding.  Barkley says they just happened to be in the same place and snapped the photo, but no issues between him and Jordan were resolved although he does miss his friend.

“We just happened to be at the same place at the same time. I love him like a brother but we are not back to where we used to be,” said Barkley.

As for the origin of the beef, Barkley says Michael got upset at criticisms he made publicly about MJ’s performance as the chairman of the Charlotte Hornets.

Barkley says he misses his friend, but he’s a professional analyst and won’t apologize for doing his job.
