Tim Duncan will have his number 21 retired this Sunday, December 18th, when the Spurs host the Pelicans but from the looks of things he still has his love and passion for the game. He has been seen numerous times this season at Spurs practices and games after announcing his retirement over the summer and now he’s actual getting out on the court and making Pau Gasol work during games of one-on-one.

In the clip, it doesn’t exactly look like they are going full speed against each other but it wasn’t like that for most of the day. Gasol explained to the media afterwards what the rules were and Duncan was only there to play defense and make him work for everything.

Duncan seems to be fully enjoying his retirement and not being in any type of limelight but it’s hard for the love of the game itself to fade.
