Talk about being a true scrooge! One Texas Pastor took it upon himself to kill Christmas for a lot of children by broadcasting the fact that there is no such thing as Santa Clause. 56-year-old David Grisham, a leader of the religious fundamentalist group Repent Amarillo, recorded himself telling children at a mall that there is no Santa because and that Christmas is “about Jesus Christ” who was “born in a manger 2016 years ago.” These are children we are talking about!
In the video, Grisham says,
“The man you are going to see today is just a man in a suit dressed up like Santa, but Santa does not exist, Santa is not real,”
One little girl put her hands over her ears as Grisham went on to say,
“And parents, ya’ll need to stop lying to your children and telling them that Santa Claus is real when in fact he’s not. … Don’t lie to your children and tell them there’s no such thing as Santa when you know in reality that there are no flying reindeer … that you buy all the gifts and put them under the tree.”
This was definitely not the time or the place for this man to do this.
