We all know Michael Jordan can be harsh, and Rip Hamilton was just another player to experience his wrath.  On a recent episode of ESPN’s The Jump, Richard Hamilton discussed what it was like to play with His Airness.  When Rip was a rookie in Washington, Jordan was finishing up his legendary career.  The Hall of Fame trash talker told the youngin he wasn’t worthy of playing in Jordans, saying, “My sneaker is for All Stars.”

Rip went on to make three straight All-Star teams and went back to Jordan, who finally put him on the Jordan Brand.  Maybe MJ gave him some motivation.
