Ryan Salandy, a Christian rapper from Maryland will now be spending 18 years behind bars for running over and killing his music producer. He was sentenced on Tuesday after about three months after he was found guilty of executing a hit-and-run attack on 25-year-old William McDaniel. The men were fighting over CDs. Not even worth it.
Salandy, who also goes by Ry Money, paid McDaniel $300 to burn 150 CDs containing his music. Text messages show that this encounter went way left.
1:21 p.m. – “When can I get my CDs?”
4:51 p.m. – “I’m going to f*** you up when I see you.”
8:23 p.m. – “We’re gonna see each other some day b**** boy. U better get me my s*** before it’s too late.”
Sept. 25, 2015, Salandy went to confront McDaniel. Witnesses claim to have heard the two exchanging words between each other which resulted in McDaniel doing between 37 and 49 miles per hour to hit Salandy. He fled the scene without even breaking. The man died on the scene.
