It’s been exactly two years since Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V was supposed to be released, and it’s still nowhere to be found. Well, that was until this weekend, when infamous P.O.S. pharmaceutical exec Martin Shkreli seemingly got his hands on it!

Taking to Periscope, the owner of the 1-of-1 Wu-Tang album promised followers that he had gotten his hands on another elusive hip-hop album, and after a while of teasing and bragging, revealed it was none other than C5. To back up his claims, he previewed some tracks on the live stream…tracks which Wayne’s camp have confirmed to TMZ are the real deal.

So how the hell did THIS guy get it? No one knows! According to reports, Wayne never gave Birdman the finished product, so that takes the blame away from him. Now Wayne has to look into his own immediate camp, and that could get messy. Of course, this could mean some SERIOUS consequences for Shkreli as well, including legal action from Cash Money Records and/or Universal Music Group.

Let’s hope justice is served properly here…and that we get an OFFICIAL release of C5 in the near future!
