After spending eight weeks at no. 2, so close you could taste the victory, “Starboy” finally comes in clutch and brings The Weeknd another no. 1 single and Daft Punk their first.

“Starboy” dethroned Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” for the number 1 song in the country right now, according to Billboard. The Weeknd previously topped the list last year with Beauty Behind the Madness‘ “Can’t Feel My Face” and “The Hills” both reaching number one on the charts. Meanwhile, Daft Punk had only ever reached the No. 2 spot on the charts, with their Pharrell Williams collaboration “Get Lucky” sitting at No. 2 for six weeks back in 2013.

“Black Beatles” has now fallen to the No. 2 spot as the rest of the top five includes The Chainsmokers’ “Closer,” Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic,” and Zay Hilfigerrr and Zayion McCall’s “Juju on That Beat.”
