Rick Ross says in a new interview that he’s got one song in particular coming up that’s a diss record aimed at someone he’s looked up to his whole life.

Ricky Rozay told Billboard:

“Oh, man, this is my ninth album and quite possibly my magnum opus. I’ve got a record titled ‘Idols Become Rivals’ and it’s basically me writing a letter to someone in the game that I looked up to damn near the most and I hate what things have come to.”

The reason why Birdman is most likely the man Ross is talking about is because when Drake (Birdman’s artist) and Meek Mill (Rick Ross’ artist) when head to head in 2015, it didn’t really sit well with either boss. Ross kind of came to his artist’s aid, but really it seemed like he wasn’t trying to favor him and was looking to keep the peace between both sides. But than again, it could be someone else who we don’t know Ross has had beef with. We’ll just have to find out March 17th when Ross’ 9th studio album Rather You Than Me drops, which will be featuring Future, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Nas and Ty Dolla $ign.
