During the Red Sox World Series run during the mid-2000’s, they were known as a wild bunch — adopting the name “the idiots,” for their fun-ribbing nature in the clubhouse. Well, now that its been a couple of years since that occurred, stories that happened in the locker room are coming in to the light. Hall-of-Famer, Pedro Martinez, shared some stories about the bunch sharing jacuzzi’s and spiking drinks with viagra!

Manny-being-Manny, was the phrase coined by Red Sox fans while their star outfielder was known for not only his clutch and dynamic offensive ability but also a propensity to do outlandish things off the field or even sometimes during games. Such activity included engaging fans between innings and even dozing off between plays, but always seeming to have fun.

Well Pedro Martinez, the Red Sox ace during the time and good friend of Ramirez, recently wrote a book entitled, “Pedro,” and decided to share some of the shenanigans the team during their run to the teams first World Series win in decades.
