IFWT NBA I love this game

These guys were out of the league for different reasons but they’re both trying to make NBA comebacks.

Michael Beasley has immense talent but off the court issues including drug use and inconsistent play on the court led to his downfall.  The former No. 2 overall draft pick played extremely well in China and earned MVP honors.  Now he’s being given another chance in the NBA.

Sources told ESPN.com’s Marc Stein, that Beasley and the Rockets have agreed to a contract for the rest of the season at the league minimum, with Houston possessing a team option for next season.  The Rockets just waived Ty Lawson after that experiment failed (he’s had issues with alcohol).  Hopefully things go better for Beasley.

Baron Davis has begun his long journey into an NBA comeback.  The 36-year-old former NBA All-Star plans to ink a deal with the Philadelphia Sixers’ D-League affiliate, the Delaware 87ers.  The popular and once explosive guard was the former No. 3 overall pick in the 1999 draft but he hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2012 NBA playoffs.  Davis emerged as a starter for the Knicks before suffering complete tears of the ACL, MCL and patellar tendon in his right knee.  He’s going to have to put in some work in the D League and hopefully gets called up.
