In light of the 25th Anniversary of the classic film, ‘Do the Right Thing’, Chuck D, Flavor Flav have spoken out on the hit that would be heard for decades! Chuck D and Flavor Flav reminisced on the makings of their revolutionary hit ‘Fight The Power’ and remember how the song almost was not created.
After just celebrating what would’ve been Tupac’s 43rd birthday last week, Chuck D has posted a picture on Twitter of a letter that Pac wrote him back in 1995 while he was in jail. In the letter Pac discusses signing to Death Row, his great love and respect for the Public Enemy rapper and what he learned from him while they were on tour. Plus he requests a feature from him on an upcoming song and even asks him if he would want to get involved in both a movie and a program that he was working on. Check out the letter after the jump!
