NFL: Chiefs Demetrius Harris Arrested on Suspicion of Felony Possession of Marijuana

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Demetrius Harris was arrested for weed on Tuesday when a routine traffic stop in Missouri went bad.

Once again Mexicans have found a way to smuggle drugs into the United States. U.S. border patrol agents have now found a makeshift catapult mounted on to a fence near Tuscon, Arizona. It is used for carrying huge amounts of marijuana from Mexico.

Legalization of marijuana has been a major debate in the country as more states are legalizing medical marijuana, and some going even further as to legalize recreational use.  Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr admitted to using marijuana to deal with chronic back pain, and it has opened the conversation to the positive effect it could have on players.  While on ESPN’s NBA Countdown this past Friday, Chauncey Billups said he wanted some of his former teammates to play while high on marijuana because it actually “helped them focus in on the gameplan.”

Thankfully, Steve Kerr is not one of those people as he admitted using it recently and seems to be an advocate for its use.
