After spending the past 16 months in recovery, following a deadly car crash, comedian Tracy Morgan made his return to stand-up comedy. The beloved comedian, who recently made an appearance at the Emmy’s, got back on the stage for not one but two, back-to-back comedy shows in NYC last night. He performed at the Comedy Cellar and The Stand and rumor has it he had an outstanding show. Cameras were forbidden from both performances, however Tracy took to his Twitter to share a photo of himself performing with the caption, “My first time on stage in 16 months at the #ComedyCellar! Picking up the pieces!” Hit the jump for more.

As many may know back in June 2014, the hilarious comedian Tracy Morgan was involved in a deadly 6 car pileup when his vehicle was hit by a trailer operated by Walmart. The accident was so brutal, it left him in a coma for 8 days. although he was able to go home a month after the accident, he endured many months of physical therapy on his road back to recovery. Tracy has made his first big debut at the Emmy Awards since the accident and is looking good.
